Clive B Roberts   Figurative Artist

I am an Australian British painter. I have studied at Julian Ashton art academy in Sydney and the London Fine Art Studios. I spend my time between the United Kingdom and France.

 

My creative focus is landscapes and still life studies in oils. I very much enjoy painting plein air, especially while exploring the British and French countryside. I also find individual commission work very rewarding, especially when a client is delighted with their finished painting.

 

My artistic influences are wide-ranging and include Joaquin Sorolla, Monet, Van Gogh, Yves Klein, Edward Hopper, John Singer Sargent, Willard Leroy Metcalf, Arthur Streeton and Andrew Wyeth.
